CNA Classes in Michigan

If you would like to take CNA classes in Michigan in most cases you should have a high school diploma or the equivalent. The exception is if you are planning to work as a home health aide.  You must complete a state approved course that consists of 75 hours of training that is supervised by a registered nurse within 4 months of starting work. CNA classes in Michigan consists of instruction as well as clinical training. Once you complete this course then you must pass a competency exam. You should apply to take this exam within one year of completing the course. In most cases a clean background check will be required. You will also need to be in good physical health and be screened for tuberculosis. CNA’s in Michigan are required to gain 12 credits of continuing education per year. This is sometimes offered by the employer as in-house training. When it comes time to renew your certification you must prove that you have worked at least 8 hours in the past 24 months.cna classes in michigan
